DIIV – ZIRP! - Chalkpit Cassette Club Exclusive Cassette

For the first time ever, DIIV’s new album ZIRP! is coming to cassette.

Limited to just 200 copies worldwide, this exclusive edition has been created in collaboration with DIIV and Chalkpit Cassette Club.

ZIRP! is the new album from DIIV, produced by pop mastermind A.G. Cook.

This is not a niche record for music understanders only. This is their POP record. Their extremely accessible mainstream alternative rock record.

What does alternative mean? DIIV are saying ZIRP! is what it means.

Are they joking? Not really.

This record is FUN. Everywhere Frog was serious, ZIRP! is fun. It was fun to make, and it is fun to listen to.

Life is hard. ZIRP! is easy.

Formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2011, DIIV have spent more than a decade carving out their own space in alternative music. Led by Zachary Cole Smith, the band emerged with the dreamlike guitar sound of their debut album Oshin before evolving through Is the Is Are, Deceiver and Frog in Boiling Water. Blending shoegaze, indie rock, dream pop and alternative influences, DIIV have built a devoted international following and become one of the defining guitar bands of their generation.
