Side 1

MELLOW

2 minutes 30 seconds of pure pristine pop recorded at Silent Studios, Rotherhithe, London, 1987.

BOBBY I CAN FLY

4 track demo. Duncan, Paul, Dave & Carl in Paul's bedroom, Ventnor, 1985.

Our first ever recording! 4 young men and a drum machine.

STRONG

The Bungalow, Waterlooville, 1986.

We booked an all night session fuelled by beer and Chinese takeaway. When we left in the morning, the producer actually said "Don't give up your day jobs!"

WHEN SHE'S GONE

The Bungalow, Waterlooville, 1986. Raid the percussion box!

ACTION'S POINTLESS NOW

Live rehearsal, Julisa's, Ventnor, 1986.

This song with lead vocals by Dave was in our early live repertoire. We don't like reggae...we love it!

Side 2

FALL TO PIECES

Live rehearsal, Julisa's, Ventnor, 1986.

A nice slower, saxy version.

EVERYTHING WE'VE EVER DONE

Live rehearsal, Julisa's, Ventnor, 1986.

Another song from the early days.

SO MUCH FOR HOLLYWOOD

Live rehearsal, Julisa's, Ventnor, 1986.

An early version of our signature song when it was still John and not Guy that wanted to travel down to Paris on his motorbike.

BOBBY I CAN FLY

Live at The Royal Tavern, Ventnor, 1987. Every other Friday night at the pub on the corner was a packed, sweaty affair. Very fast.

MELLOW

Live at The Royal Tavern, Ventnor, 1987.

"Cry your heart out you f**cker!" (We were once angry young men). 5 minutes of raucous energy - enjoy!

Paul Armfield - bass and vocals
